In the discount form, where it says registration details, do I just have to put in my serial number? Or do I need to put in the name I bought MMF1.5 with, etc?

yeh there a form you can fill out on their site that will have you emailk him with the right info and wait a tad and he will send you your discount code..... although I'd rather it be automated it'd be a lot faster.
I'm gonna get MMF2 Devoloper with my 14% discount that'll make it errrmlike 300 dollars... thats a lot.

Okay, I filled out that form. I want to get MMF2 Dev, and I currently have MMF1.5 Standard. It's still going to be about $500 AU

I'll be buying MMF standard when a) I get the money deposited; b) I inform my parents about it and c) I can buy it using my bank account number instead of some stupid credit card.
I bought it on the 30th. 119.99 buxx. Not quite 99, but still, worth it. I've been saving for dev, but I had $320, and now it's $349 in US money... it's time for standard.
