Ive not played the arcade version.
There is an article in an old retro gamer magazine where the robocop1 games are compared on the various computers it was released on and it suggests that the arcade version is different to the home versions. It's basically the same as the gameboy version.

That doesn't really look like much fun at all.

It's not really, however compared with most other Amstrad games it's quite impressive.

Didnt look fun,
that game was the most fun my CPC6128 could handle,

its was ace music(at the time) and fantastic colour, but the Speccy version was much better graphics, even though it was only 2 colours, lol

took me about a month to learn how to do it, and thus my live in video games was born. lol

can you guys remember short Curcuit the CPC game ?

"but the Speccy version was much better graphics"

Ive got to disagree with you there. The only thing you can really say is worse is the low-res of the cpc version. Give me blocky colour over monochrome anyday.

the spectrum screenshot is at the bottom.

I own Short circuit, but don't remember it. Didn't play it much,

I remember buying this back in the day, getting home and loading it up, to find that the cassette was buggered..

Had to take it back the next day to get a refund, I was so bitter about it that I never purchased another one.
