Wouldnt it be great if there was a daily click Plus. It would be a comunity for people who are experienced at game making, spriting, composing or whatever.
You would have to apply to become a member and have access granted if the Admin think you are good enough, It would be great for people who take Kliking Seriously and would allow great klikers to join together and make great games (because you know that they are good because they have been allowed to join)
There is nothing wrong with this comunity but it would give more experienced game makers somwhere to go to discuss, and enjoy each others work without having to filter through hours of stuff which to some people is great but to others, it has been seen many times over.
It could be essentially the same as this site but DC points and awards could be awarded for trully great work. and they would only be given when it is earned.
no there arent. the only good site is TDC and the rest is shit. there isnt even a rest so lets never ever talk about it (I am serious)

but if all the good klikkers got together and had their own little community away from the noobs how would the noobs ever get help from the people who actually know the stuff. and what about the guys who arent good but arent bad. are they stuck to deal with all the bad games from the noobs. think about it.

Pro's can still talk here, theres many around, and nothing stopping them. If you want to get some experienced people to make a game with you try the solitaire club.
I once had an evil idea about a community site for both Klik and GameMaker.
Let us compete in the GOTW against those bastards. It'd be the land of never ending flamewars though.

I think thats a pretty good idea there Antworx, I used to be ok with n00bs but some of these new n00bs are..different. There is no way they will ever make a good game anyway. Maybe there should be a special board where you can only get in after winning a GOTW award, and you can get kicked out for bad behaviour. It should be called the Elitist Bastard Boards.
Klik-me seems to be a pretty good place if you want to avoid contact with n00bs, but the boards there are pretty inactive.
Sorry, but this just screams 'elitist' to me. As legendpkr said, if you bar off the new/less experienced guys in such a manner, you may just succeed in driving the lot away. That's not so good when you experienced (and most likely 'older') peeps suddenly realise you wont be staying here forever. Which means that new people will have to replace you eventually to keep the community going, whether you like it or not. The alternative is a practically lifeless place with a scant few people clinging on just for he hell of it. So...to put it in plain English, I say don't be a 'wuss' =P, and put up with the peeps that annoy you from time to time. Some of the more serious klikers will stick around for the long run.
EDIT - Ok...after taking a look at the recent downloads, I've seen that the members of Gamemine don't seem to be learning their lessons much. I'm pretty sure that's what spurred this topic on. Still, the idea of a 'TDC plus' sounds a tad drastic to me =P. Try ignoring 'em, that'll work wonders.
Hey, if there was a TDC+, only for GOTW winners, that would mean that just noobs would be left to participate in the GOTW, which would mean that after a few GOTW:s there would be noobs in TDC+ too, if you see what i mean
Y'know, it's actually a decent idea, besides the fact that there are plenty of shitty gotws. And all it'll really do is promote cheating on the gotw poll, which we have enough of already. Maybe a TDC+ council voting for admission would be a better idea. I mean, elitism is awesome. Seriously.
It may sound like a good idea to you and who ever originally imagined it... until you find out that you're one of the people who are not invited and ultimately rejected. Then you'd just be another guy who'd be screaming bloody murder wondering why you can't get in with the cool kids.
I never said i was good enough or even impied that i would be anything to do with this, I just thought maybe a place for or forum or anything for the more advanced would spur on some greater more inventive games.
Alot of people on this site are Amazing at Game making and imagine if there was a place where these people could join forces.
Great game makers are good alone, but imagine 3,4 or 5 of them making one game. Thats what i was kinda getting at. The solitare club is fairly useless, People ask for help or to make a team and get nothing.
But a Advanced solitare club with restricted access..... you know that the people you are talking to would be good at what they do, not a noob looking for an easy ride.
