I remember Hugo. I wasn't a fan of it at the time but it scared the frikkin' hell out of me aswell.

As for an engine, it would be very difficult. If you truly want to make a game I suggest you use AGI Studio or SCI Studio. (Google AGI but SCI Studio is www.bripro.com)

And wasn't the game called Hugo's House of Horror's?

Go down to Hugo's House of Horrors, download all three if you want. I don't think the game is still being sold (I hope not) yet here is the game in zip format. Have fun, if you can.

Btw, who said anything about judging and criticising? The point of this post was if anyone remembered the game and for those who did if there was a TGF engine he could use.
