Well, I know Eternal Daughter was inspired by classic 16-bit platformers like the Castlevania series.

You really should give them a chance, there's a reason they're referred to as classics.

Atleast the good ones you see here, the bad ones are just from people who are to lazy to make good ones.

Gearbolt Rage, Factor X, and Destruction Carnival are all very similar to Smash TV (one of my all-time favorite games). Mr. Stumps Dentures is quite Mario-esque. Nearly every Click game is inspired by a one commercial game or another, it's just that some make efforts to hide it while others openly pay homage to the source material.

Hypergem is based off this really old puzzle game (which I dunno the name of)

Your crappy Vib Ribbon screengrab amuses me.

(by the way, 99% of all (click) games are copies of what has gone before, only elements of games are original now)

Kris - Hypergem 3 was based on a game called Hexxagon.

My game Blockguy is based on Blockman, and Stack Online was based a little on Klax and other tetriseyish games. Mathematicus Online was 99% original tho
