Light Cubed is a simple, pick-up-and-play game that's easy to learn and difficult to master. Place white blocks on the screen and they fill up the bar at the bottom of the screen. Fill the bar to complete the level. Simple, huh? Well no. As the levels progress, things begin to get in your way. You'll be able to complete the 12 levels in this short puzzle game fairly easily... but that's only the beginning.

Although simple, there are many exploits and tricks you can use to shave 100ths of a second off your time. Use your uber micro to replace bar-sapping blocker blocks when they're not required. Riskily place white blocks in dangerous levels to get the lead over rivals and their times. Go through all 12 levels at once to score the ultimate prize- the campaign lowest time! Give this game a quick go and play along to the noisy trance beat. You never know, it could even be fun!

Really fun and simple game. Good job!

Way too short

I wouldve given it a 5/5 10/10 - If there were enough levels. I really like the gameplay, but just when i had finally gotten the hang of it, the game said I d played it through ? Really. 50 levels, or ~80, please. Otherwise not even 4 minutes of entertainment.

Nice game...

But I think I have to call shenanigans on your full course time trial. I currently dominate your time trial leaderboard, and because of the random nature of levels 7-12 it's impossible to guarantee a fast time on those levels. Also, I added up your best times on the individual levels and they add up to more time than your full course trial.

That makes me think that you just created a time and submitted it, which is dishonest. If you can't actually finish in the time you've submitted (and judging by my findings above, you can't), then you have no business setting it as a benchmark. I think you should remove it in the name of fairness; such shenanigans sit extremely poorly with me, as they should with everyone else.

That apparent dishonesty aside, I like the game. It's a simple concept that's been done fairly well, and it's easy to get into. Good job on it.
