it's nice for a change of pace to get a winter game in summer. However, comapared to other snowball games (IE snowbrawl) this game doens't hold a candle to it.

The premise of the game is to kill your enemies with snowballs while ovoiding being hit yourself. The interface is mouse driven - like Cannon Fodder, or our version, Operation Sitting Duck - but unlike them, you must SELECT each member at the beginning by clicking on them, then clicking here you want them to go, and clicking where you want them to fire. However, when firing, they stop - which means you can't dodge while firing, taking out some of the strategic element of the game.
There is only one map, which is 1 screen wide, however there are some destroyable mounds which give you cover from incoming fire. The graphics are nice and cartoony and fit the game nicely - however the use of WORMS sound samples makes the game seem so much more fake than cartoony, more ripped than original.
It certainly won't last when you could easily download the superior SNOWBRAWL - however it's a good attempt at a genre seriously lacking in games. Next time, try allowing maybe a roll feature when moving and firing, and make the selecting system better, more maps, and get rid of the WORMS samples.
