Simply over the top. If we weren't told this game was made in MMF2, we wouldn't know it. Theres no unpolished ends, no part without a level of finish applied to it. While it could use some cinematics, maybe a plot, maybe a game based on the engine, it does exactly what it strives to do. The menu is intuitive and looks nice, though flying stars are a bit trite. The inclusion of an extremely well designed level editor, online play, make this very well presented.

Just about the best I've seen in klik game. The deathmatch has been pretty honed balancewise; it looks like a lot of material was recycled from FS2, but thats not really a problem. Guns are balanced, little knacks like the way you can't start with anything but a pistol or some grenades, all add up to an even playing field. The deathmatch AI is quite amazing, though the fact it is node based might be a letdown. Its not dumb most of the time, and seems to have basic comprehension. Added to the great variety of weapons, ridiculous amount of stages, and the little touches like superweapons, it really adds up. On the other hand, I haven't gotten the online mode working. More likely, there simply aren't people to play with.

Not the best. They are well drawn for the style they aim at, though fairly basic in that. Little touches like customizable heads, fluid player animations and environmental doodads keep the attention off the background tiles, which show some clear repetition. The level design, however, keeps that from being ugly. The detailed backgrounds and consistent theme really do work. Its got no knock-your-pants off effects, but certainly doesn't look bad.

Impressive. A great original soundtrack, LOTS of weapon sound effects, and almost no recycling. Some of the tracks are actually quite nice. One of the few games that I dont do CTRL-M on.

Online play? Deathmatch with bots? 50 weapons and tons of levels and a level editor? Really now

This is one of the most detailed and stably programmed click games I've seen. I'd say the only thing a game like Eternal Daughter has on it is scope and graphics.

Talk about over-hyping something.

Ditto from me.

It depends what you're rating it against. I don't think this game belongs in the same league as 99% of the games on this site and I guess it's a compliment that people are saying it's overrated because they're obviously comparing it to real games like CSS.

No, I'm comparing it to actual original games like Noitu Love 2, Project Rollercoaster and Tormishire, all of which I've played and are somewhat better in many ways than this.

lol adam, just because you don't like it doens't mean it's not a good game. I think you over hype Noitu Love 2.

Adam, is it just me or are two of those games you mentioned not even out yet? Image

OH wait make that all three.

I think that Half Life 3 is better than Half Life 2. Definitely.
