A fresh little platformer, and I do mean little!
Not little on the fun, but little on both the file, and screen size, but it's tiny fun like thats that reminds me of one of the best games on the original Gameboy, Super Mario Land. But this isn't a carbon copy, or run of the mill, like hundreds of other platformers out there!

The controls couldn't be any more responsive, they are simple, but a platformer shouldn't be overly complicated. the movement is tidy, it really has the feel of a professional design team.

The graphics are retro, and that's the charm of this game, The main character like all the sprites is small, but fluidly animated, the background graphics and the characters match perfectly, nothing looks oddly out of place like so many other "Click" platformers. They really show you what a great job can be done with a handful of shades of grey!

You encounter obstacles, and enemies as you play, and you gain new abilities in your quest to become the Ultimate Falafel. By the way, watch out for the flaming blocks!

Since it's a short adventure when you die you have to start over, but the game is so much fun you don't mind starting from the begining again.

The sound and music are very well done, and fit the game perfectly! Plus it helps pull you into the whole retro feel!

Due to it's length it doesn't score too high on lastability, but it's quirky brand of platforming fun will bring you back!

I hope there will be more in this series, as long as it keeps it's retro charm, and stays true to this formula, the author could charge a modest fee for new chapters, and I'd be one of the first in line!

This game shows that quality doesn't need to be big, and flashy, but those of us from an older generation of gaming already knew that.
