Well ... I actually played the game before reviewing it.

Many of the games we see here on TDC often have limited gfx. Meaning it is often ugly or worse. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS OF COURSE.

Looking at the screenshots of this game ... well ... it looked more than ok. But as always, gfx cannot alone make a good game.

Anyways ...

---

Presentation:
There was a intro video which is quite rare, because it takes up much space. The video was generally impressive. However the text was in french ... me no frenchman. Well ... that does not matter much though.

Then we came to the menu. First was some Title screen (no clue what to do) I hit the space button and on we went. The menu had what was needed. Apparently the "1" button started the game.

Overall the gfx was good and the presentation more than average. I could have wished for a big more guidance for what to do though.

8/10

Gameplay:
Well ... I havent completed the game yet. But I am pretty sure the game will not change much even if I do.

The game pretty sums up to run around, shoot bad guys and rescue women tied to something.

The levels are quite boring and the concept very very basic.

This is where there is an apparent lack of time invested.

Auch ...

2/10

Graphics:
Well ... the screenshots did not lie. It is 3D prerendered gfx. And thee quality is basically good. The animations are quite basic however. Also the ingame levels are sadly pretty boring to look at really.

7/10

---

Sound and Music:
The music is generally good and fits the game well. You do not notice it a lot which is really good.

The sound effects are above average, but some could have been better.

8/10

---

Lastability:
Well ... the game is very basic and you can only play it one way through. Not much replay value at all. The game is also very easy and you will soon be through it (if you care to).

So ...

4/10

Overall:
The final verdict is: 6/10

Final thoughts:
This game (like many others) has potentential. But lacks execution.

It could be much better if for instance:
1. The history was stronger and actually a part of the game.
2. The gameplay was more rich. Like different tasks in the levels.
3. The pace/speed of the game was lower. It is much too fast now.
4. You really had to kill (some of) the enemies to progress.
5. There was some kind of challenge really.
