>>Strife's TDC Review - Kaiser Kitty

You gotta love that title. Anywayz, for all you puzzle-gamers out there, Radix has created a very neat platform/puzzle game that should really "curl your tail".

>>PRESENTATION: 7

The title screen is superb, and I especially liked the creative story (although, an introduction movie would have been awesome).

Apparently, there's a planet called Kittyland (yes, Kittyland), and a legendary sword named the Kitty Edge has been stolen by an evil guild of robots. It's up to you to infiltrate their base and retrieve the Kitty Edge, with nothing but the force of Gravity on your side.

>>GAMEPLAY: 9

Gameplay in Kaiser Kitty is composed of a gravitational system that is innovative to the Daily Click community. You use the arrow keys to move your kitty, and the W, A, S, D keys to alter the direction of gravity in the room. This is surprisingly fun, and makes for some really tricky puzzles later in the game.

The only thing that this game is missing is a Level Editor. With an editor, this would be one of the best puzzle games on TDC. Maybe Radix could release a special edition of Kaiser Kitty in the future with a level editor...?

>>GRAPHICS: 6

With the title "Kaiser Kitty", you'd think that the graphics were bright and cheerful. Think again. The levels in the game are dark, so dark in fact that many people will have to increase the brightness on their monitors in order to see some of the objects. This, in my opinion, is the only 'main' problem with the game.

Most of the enemies and objects are bigger than Kaiser Kitty, which is odd, but they are fitting nonetheless.

>>SOUND AND MUSIC: 5

Nothing special here; just some generic sounds for changing gravity, dying, and talking to other kitties.

>>LASTABILITY: 8

If you're a fan of puzzle games, then this game will be on your hard drive for a long time. Other people probably won't play it again after they've finished all the levels.

>>OVERALL: 8

No doubt, Kaiser Kitty is an aMEWsing game (according to Gigas ). It has some real potential, and even if you're a light puzzle-lover, you should download Kaiser Kitty and try it out. Meow!
