Review: Milber 2
Wow, this definatly is an above standard game, read on to find out why...
The game is presented well, you are pushed right into the story at once, the you reach the menu screen, nothing special, but easy to navigate.
The gameplay is simple, but effective, sure you get one weapon, but there is something that drives you along, there are many different bad guys, huge boses with their own deivious attacks. You fight through many different scenes, at one point you can even choose which way to go, giving the player choice gives them choice and another part of the game to explore later.
The graphics are really nice, they represent an old NES/SNES type graphic style, and they all fit together nicely, the people in the desert, i though didn't fit in to the game as well as the others, but as a whole the graphics were good.
The sound and music were excellent, the music was origional and sounded like a NES game, the same goes for the sound.
Overall, the game follows basically the same route the whole time, apart from the divide at one point, but the game plays and looks so great that it is worth keeping on your hard drive, there is just something special about this game that'll make you want to keep it, no matter that there are no hidden features or mini-games.
A lot of effort seems to have been put into making this game, although I wouldn't reccommend this as a top game, but above average, and that everyone should have a go at playing it. I havn't played the first game, but everyone, I reccommend this!
