I don't really know what to make of this one. At first I thought it looked like a decent puzzle game, but it's one of those games that use completely the wrong method to make things challenging for the player.

Namely, in this game you have only a small amount of influence over which way your electron travels (apparently it's still under the magnetic influence of the "nexulus" - nucleus?). Now, this wouldn't be a problem if there was a logical way to work against it, but there isn't - the electron that you control is just buffeted around at ranom, leaving you to wrestle with it to get it travelling in roughly the direction that you want it to go.

The objective is to collect enough "lightning spark" icons. Once you've grabbed all of them in the level, you're taken to the next one. Sometimes the route to them is blocked by anti-energy blocks, which only occasionally let you through. Again, couldn't a more intelligent solution have been devised?

Now, either there's something seriously wrong with my computer or there's something seriously wrong with the "level introduction" screen. The countdown takes over 30 seconds to complete, and I think it's because of the red objects being spewed out from the electron. I used the time to type a paragraph or two of this between levels.

Random yellow sparks fly across the screen during the level. I thought that they might have something to do with the magnetism, but they don't appear to do anything whatsoever. The rest of the graphics are nice enough, even though the colouring seems a little off.

On the fourth level it was necessary to get through anti-energy blocks to pick up a spark. Being unable to do this, I switched over to finish off the review, only to switch back a while later and discover that in my absence the level had been completed.

If the game's engine wasn't so completely _wrong_, this could be good, but you can't expect a player to have to battle against the controls like this to win. It's not 2001: A Space Odyssey.
