I was on a bit of break from developing Twisted Tower for the last month or so, but I'm resuming work again. The item and skill selection for chapter 1 is closing completion. Next I'm hoping to finish remaining weapons and weapon features, as well as spells, followed by remaining enemies, then adding story elements, etc. Still have some hopes for a December release for chapter 1, but what with the recent downtime, that could just be outta reach.

Anyways... are you interested in Twisted Tower? Think you can contribute feedback to help improve it before release (and actually will), on regular basis? I'm taking aboard three more testers and need some fresh feedback. First three to email me at mail@hitmann.net will be considered.

Windybeard:
No worries. You've given feedback in the past, which is better than half the people that have said nothing at all. When you've got the time, hop on the test forums and post away. I'm sure there's something you can contribute towards, be it balance feedback, content suggestions, anything.

Hello, I sent an email, I am Brazilian and here, your game will be well received when released, would like to participate and have several questions! One is if this game needs directx3D.As other questions are in the mail.
I am using a translator then might not be good to read!

I'd love to put my hand up for this, as I've been following this project quite closely since I favourited it. However, I work at a game store and buy new games all the time, most of which are of the time-consuming strategy variety, so I don't know how valuable I'd be as a frequent feedback giver since I'm constantly playing other things. In all fairness to you and the expectations you are likely to have, I don't think I should apply. If the need gets dire, though, let me know. My experience with roguelikes, platformers, and RPG's in general probably would be useful as long as you don't mind my feedback being separated by long bouts of playing other games and working on my own projects.

It's not so much about the total amount of time, but the frequency. I'd rather have testers that play 30min every few days and comment on the experiences, than someone who plays a few hours every couple of months.

As a little clarification to everyone:
The biggest issue I'm facing at the moment is balancing the different 'classes', weapons and spells in early game (the current content, chapter 1), because many things will scale up from there on in future chapters. If something's underpowered now, it'll likely be underpowered later on too. So I'll tweak it, and I need people to confirm if those changes are good or bad, then move on accordingly. I can't wait months to get feedback on changes. A week is much better. This all of course means that the testers would need to try a variety of character builds, to be able to compare them. Certainly there's more than just item/skill balance to test, but I'm not hurrying with the remaining components (boss battle, tutorial, story elements, etc) until general gameplay feels right to more people than just me. :3

If this sounds doable to whoever reads this, consider applying. I might go for more than just three testers even, since I really need feedback.
