for ages i've been wanting to make a top down view arcade racer but could never get the handling right heres my first advanced go at making one.

Oki so first things first i made car slide by messing around with the angle of a the car you see then after the slide snapping it back to the angle of the real car. Instead of making the car slide whenever you want i made a body roll mechanic, so when you turn enough to make it start to roll a meter goes up, the higher the meter the bigger the slide.

however this was making it a problem when switching direction as it wouldn't slide to the left if it had been sliding to the right. fixed this by making the car unstable to the left and right if you change the slide from one side to another.

* fixed no deceleration while sliding
* fixed sliding for both directions
* fixed no deceleration when no up key is pressed

Was starting to come together now, also made the acceleration abit quicker and the top speed a little higher.

Next thing is people seemed to be getting abit confused with the bodyroll meter (show in pic 1)
because the wheels that were losing contact with the road would go red, it looked more like tyre wear then bodyroll so changed the meter to one that showed it alot better, not sure if going to keep this one either.
