Project Overview
Preview The project has been put down. Feel free to try the final abandoned version and take a look at the source which features some cool graphics/sounds as well.

Very simple game, using a simple 4-color palette to look like the old gameboy (except the colors aren't all green).

Oh did I say simple? Well there's a madman behind the wheels. The goal of the entire game is to make an engine that contains no hardcoding. Exceptions:

* AI's
* Title/Menus

That's pretty much it. The rest is being loaded from files, everything from sounds and graphics to the levels itself.

Even though there's already a beta version, I will start off by showing you screenshots of the game. If you're interested in contributing to the game, you are free to contact me.

Goal: Make a complete engine, a level editor, and setup a website to host new sets of levels.

No video yet, but I got a little surprise coming up when you'll least expect it.
Hey guys

Had some software issues, but today I've been cleaning up the code.

Just to be clear, the backgrounds now feature 3 different layers allowing for different kinds of paralaxes as some of you might like to call it.

I will however most likely not utilize all these 3 layers, and will limit myself to 2 layers on some levels.

I have also started working on more AI's for the enemy ships, currently I have 2 simple AI's alive and kicking.

Oh yeah, I'm supposed to post a video soon right?

PS. I'll just leave this crappy screenshot here.
