While attending Gen Con this year I went to a round table session where people described there games and had there ideas
questioned and critiqued. This is a project I've been wonting to do for a long time and now I have a deadline. It has to be
finished, beta tested and ready for sail for next years Gen Con. So let's get this show on the road. Wow this text looks a lot
bigger in the edit window... anyway.

In an alternate version of 1997 a large meteor
strikes Easter Island. Originally thought to be
a planet killer, rather than cause an earth
shattering kaboom the meteor instead only
obliterated Easter Island and released a new,
and apparently non-harmful, type or radiation.
The world breathed a sigh of relief believing
it had dodged a bullet.

However just a few weeks later an event that
would become known as the first wave occurred.
All across the world random people went on
crazed killing-sprees. Then out of the blue
they began growing into giant monsters. The
giant monsters, virtually unstoppable, reeked
havoc across the world. Just as civilisation
teetered on the brink of destruction the Second
Wave happened. However the people from the
second wave of transformations seemed to retain
there sanity. They stood up to defend there
homes and loved ones against the crazed giants.
This is where our story begins.

The game play will be a mixture of old school
platforming and JRPG. Similar in style to that
of Ax Battler: the Legend of Golden Axe on the
Game Gear or Legend of Zelda 2 on the NES. You
will play a newly empowered human on a jearny
to defend the world from the evil giants.

It will use pre-rendered 3D graphics with a
camp B-monster movie style, with a bit of dark
humour thrown in. At least that's what I'm
going for.

Well that's all I can think of right now. I guess I have a lot of work ahead of me. Pleas give me any feedback you have. I'd be interested to know what you like or don't like about my idea.
