Controls:

F2 = restart
Esc = quit

Arrows = directions
Shift+arrow = rotation
D = shoot (hold to charge up)
hold S = shield (limited by ship's battery)
shooting and shielding both decrease the battery
battery recharges back when you stop using battery or stop shooting

The game will allow player to enhance performance of the ship by tactically upgrading it with new parts. He will also complete quests and make allies. The game will also feature a storyline along with some small mini games (for quests) that may go along with it.

Weapons
Posted 23rd Apr 10, by Kokocipher Post A Comment
I have successfully added 2 weapons on top of the default. I've decided to put aside the engine for now because each new weapon I add to the game requires so much debugging and planning.
Engine design revision
Posted 21st Apr 10, by Kokocipher Post A Comment
After replace most of the placeholders, I've decided to convert most of the engine into the global event editor instead of using the frame editor.

This conversion is easily said than done. For instance, all frames will follow the same engine as global event. If you want to edit or tweak few things just for a particular frame, certain global event will also have to be considered. This will become a problem during debugging and testing.
