During the chaos of the Abayomin war, both the Gersudorf Republic and the Balsmonth Empire take
the opportunity to expand their borders by invading South Abayoma. The South Abayomin forces, already
stretched thin from dealing with their aggressive northern cousins, request aid from their only ally;
the Commonwealth of Long Ryu.
Lance Corporal Jack Solitaire and his recon team are sent to investigate strange enemy troop movements around
the abandoned village of Dydo. As the Commonwealth soldiers approach the village, they are ambushed by highly
trained Imperial soldiers.
At some point during the battle Jack experiences sudden and intense pain. Then his world goes dark. He awakens
much later with a blinding headache. The Imperial officer standing outside his cell gives him an offer he can't
refuse;
"Assist me in fending off attacks from Republican soldiers until my reinforcements arrive. Otherwise you and
your two surviving teammates will be executed by firing squad."
With the whereabouts of his men unknown, and an unwillingness to try to escape alone, Jack reluctantly agrees to enemy base commander's terms.

Gameplay
------------
The player controls Jack, a soldier blackmailed into fighting his enemy's enemy. His captor, Jones, claims that
he will free Jack and his two teammates once his reinforcements arrive in 30 days.
Jack must help defend the base whenever Republican troops attack it. However, the base isn't attacked daily.
In order to pass the time between attacks, Jack can train to boost his stats as well as attempt to befriend one of the many female Imperial soldiers stationed at the base.
Training and chating with the females require the use of energy. When your energy is too low or empty, you'll have to sleep to regain it. Going to sleep advances the date by one. After 30 days have passed the game ends. Which of the many endings you receive is based on your actions during the game.

Because of the adult nature of my video game projects and the fact that minors visit this page daily, I thought it would be best to make my own web site for my projects;
There I have the freedom to discuss my project's gameplay and features without censoring myself.
It goes without saying that I will no longer update this page. If you are interested in my projects please click on the link above and be sure to bookmark it. Thank you.
While I have no images or videos to show this update, I'm making great progress on the game's 'dating engine'. I'm about 60% on done with it. (Since I am programming it using Fola, her 'dating logic' is nearly done as well.)
There are 7 Imperial females, but only 6 are dateable. Sarah is a hidden character of sorts and you'll have to do something totally different in order to 'get' her.
I am also adding two supporting characters; another female Imperial soldier, and a male enlisted Imperial soldier. (Jones is a male soldier, but an officer.)
These two are tasked with making sure Jack doesn't try to escape on his own. (Although he would try to escape without his teammates.) The pair are also playable characters in combat.
For now I am planning to have four playable characters in battle; Jack, the pair above, and a 4th character of the player's choice. This 4th character is only of the six dateable Imperial girls.
If the 4th character you pick survives the battle you gain a random amount of 'love points' with that female. But this is more of a bonus, as the main way to raise these points is by using the 'dating engine'.
When I totally finish this engine I'll be sure to post some images and give a more detailed explanation.
The game plays in a 800x600 window. However, that doesn't mean all the levels are 800x600. The screen caps I have been posting so far are from levels that are actually 400x300.
I did it this way so that when the player is indoors or in battle the scene and sprite characters would be scaled up during runtime.
On outdoor scenes (and when showing *ahem* female character art) the levels will be 800x600. With careful planning, I can 'zoom' in and out as needed.
I was having a design issue when trying to show the character portraits while 'zoomed in'. But I am happy with
the results now. The key point was to be able to show a fairly large character portrait, have room for a text window, and not totally block the sprite background and characters.
In order to test the 'dating engine' I throw one of the girls in the cell with Jack. (This is temporary of course. It saves me from having to leave the level just to check minor changes.)
