Project Overview
Preview This is a project with similar functionality to the 'Quest for Glory' series. The hero is animated with video capture.

Story:
All's well in the lovely suburbian town of Perkasie. People working, traffic bustling, kids playing on the playgrounds. One day, our hero, Luke, wakes up to find everyone missing. The streets become quiet, the playgrounds vacant, and the only other people remaining are some of his close friends. What happened to the rest of the town? Why has everyone suddenly disappeared?

Engine Development:
Player is fully moveable and can throw stones, cast magick and pick up loose items. Battles are strategic and can be won with all three methods of fighting (brute strength, good timing, counterattacks). Main Menu is fully operable and allows status viewing, magick allotment and saving/loading saved games. Player can observe and interact with their environment with five action choices.

I hope everyone enjoys it!
Better Late Than Never

Alright, so I'm not going to be able to have this completed before the end of November.

However, I'ma keep working on it regardless.

I've updated the magick system, fixed some bugs, and added more to the engine.
-Added a pause feature during battle
-Changed the daggers to stones
-Fixed a 'Hunger death' bug
-Fixed Discharge spell's lack of accuracy during battle
-Lowered the file-size a tad
-Changed the Save/Load system into a Save/Load/Erase system
-Finished many more sprites & backgrounds

Here's to trucking along.

Enough Playing Around

It's been quite a long time, but I believe it's time for an update.

Yes, work had taken a lot of my time out of me, but situations have changed and I now have more time to get things done!

I've been able to get more areas mapped out and in some cases animated, so once their structures are set, I can get to implementing the engine into them. Examples shown are the Burning Fields, Perkasie, and the Thieve's Hangout.
I've also gotten some cutscenes set up, so they'll soon be ready for inclusion.

I'll get ahold of my current actors/actresses to have them help me with a final step: voices. I've gotten most of the animations complete, so now I have to give them life (preferably with sound).

My projected time of project completion is approximately late November of this year. Note: this is only an approximation.

Glad to be back!
