Two Blatantly Cheap Plugs
News posted 17th August, 2004 by The Chris Street
Just a quick post to inform you all of two community sites which have both experienced redesigns. First up is Klik-Me, a community site which isn't like this one (i.e, you can't submit games or request reviews, etc), and, well, that's up now.

The next redesign goes to Klik Academy. Visit it now, and you'll find that nothings changed. But just be prepared, because it has been redesigned, and the new look will be uploaded in the coming few days. It looks cool, because, as an upstanding member of this community (!), I've been given a sneaky peek at it.

So yes, these are Blatantly Cheap Plugs solely in order to take away The Daily Click's 1000+ members XD

Ooooh, nice... Just wanted to ask somebody if the km redesign could be posted here :) For those people who have problems accessing the site: My host somehow messed up the nameserver. Now it seems to depend on which provider you use to access the interweb, but the domain may still not work in some cases. If that happens, go to http://www.klik-me.abnetz06.de :)

Btw, is it me or has the TDC's font moved up a size?

It's you.

Posted by Broomie 17th August, 2004

Just realised that.

jannis! did you not test KM2 in netscape? :( the top formatting is all screwed. i must say i preferred the older version. this new one seems pretty sparse. oh yeah, km@pnattress.plus.com is a valid email address, you better look at your register script ;) i like the posts per page thing, i have that on the new KA - speaking of which, thanks to circy for the mention :)

@Brad: as far as i know, hayo asked permission.

you didn't ask permission to use Mr Stump though XD But you knew I'd give it anyway :D

What is the point of having the same members in several different 'communities'?

Posted by jast 17th August, 2004

The point is that not all of the members are in those communities. I don't even want TDC's 1000+ members - KM is for those who are tired of a community site that gets filled up with 20 crap submissions a day.

Posted by ChrisB 17th August, 2004

I wish there were 20 a day :(

Posted by jast 17th August, 2004

@Pete: Okay, I slightly altered the regular expression that checks whether an email appears to be valid or not... It should work now :)

Posted by jast 17th August, 2004

Oh, and yes, I did take a look at it in netscape... And I have to say that I have absolutely no idea why netscape f*cks up the headline. Even Mozilla does it the right way.

I thought Klikme was dead already. What a worthless site.

..and your braincells

Posted by Radix 18th August, 2004

Don't discourage him. KM is good because it's low on the dipshits.
