Clickteam have released a BONUS PACK for Multimedia Fusion 1.5 users containing loads of new features...

Advanced Direction to create custom movements; Blowfish to encrypt strings; ISO Grid 2 to create psuedo-3D isometric worlds; Magic Deque to create dynamic arrays; Platform Movement to create advanced platform movements; Progress Bar to display the Windows Progress Bar control; Random Pool a new random feature that will not select the same number twice; Save Game to save the state of all the objects in your game automatically; Text Blitter 1.5 to use custom fonts in your application.

Pro users also get: Email to send emails easily from within your application; OS to retrieve information about the users system; Double Precision to change the formatting of numbers.

But how much does all this cost? Absolutely nothing, this bonus pack is COMPLETELY FREE to every MMF 1.5 user.

But how do I download it? Simple, just click here to download it directly from Clickteam, or click here to view more information about what you get with the bonus pack.

Download it now, the file is just 1.78MB for both Standard and Pro users.

This is really cool. I hope Click team do this more often.

Woohoo! Save game object. I guess it'll be a race to see who posts the first article on these objects XD

Posted by Assault Andy 2nd September, 2003

Me! ^_^, well not an article but i'll do one soon. Here's an example i made of the Platform movement extension: http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/jazz/ajvitalize/PME.zip It includes springs, movement (jumping) and swimming. You can also check out the forum post i made of it: http://www.create-games.com/forum_post.asp?id=44394 -Andy

I've just installed it, I can't wait to try all these new objects, and the great thing is, all of them sound really usefull. Woohoo :D

The random pool object would work wonders with a quiz game. No repeat questions! I'm struggling with all these objects, guess I need to work harder XD

Posted by Wormware 2nd September, 2003

Jingle bells.... Finnaly a big difference between MMF and the earlier Clicksoftware! I'm so happy I can jump over my house. And the objects are just the objects people are waiting for. So gotta stop typing, start clicking!!!! Thanks Clickteam, your the greatest!

Bloody hell! How kind!

Impressive

Posted by Andy H 2nd September, 2003

As mentioned...you must be crazy if you still use TGF :P

Posted by Tigerworks 2nd September, 2003

Be sure to check out the Extensions\Demos folder, lots of examples there (like level editor for iso grid 2) as well as the Extensions\Docs folder too of course ;)

I checked everything.. I'm stil searching for -Layer.cox -comdlg.cox -kcdailog.cox -SaveGame.cox -txtblt.cox Seems it they're not installed.. Damn I can't use the Savegame object, the Platform object and the BMP-text object... Can somebody mail me the objects? wormware@hotmail.com. I got MMF 1.5 standard what's the problem. You can find the objects in the C:\MMF\extention folder. Please let me enjoy all the fun.. Thanks

Posted by The Chris Street 2nd September, 2003

Hmm...The platform object is weird. It only relates to background objects as Obstacles and Platforms (the ones which you can jump through) There's no way of being able to work this with active objects, such as moving platforms :P At least, not yet.

Posted by Liam Dawe 2nd September, 2003

layer.cox comes with the updates for mmf wormware, common dialog can be found at 3ee, kcdialog try tims archive and dunno bout the others sorry

Posted by ChrisB 2nd September, 2003

Wormware, you have to upgrade to build 113... Circy: Yes, you can get it to work with moving platforms - extensions don't know if something is a backdrop or not.

now this is what i call kick ass. or what i would call "kick ass" were i to use such clichéd obscenitites.

Posted by Joshtek 2nd September, 2003

no no no. Klick Ass :p wait. that sounded wrong... eep!

Posted by 2nd September, 2003

why don't they ever make extensions for TGF, I can't buy MMF right now!

Posted by ChrisB 2nd September, 2003

Because TGF is 8 years old and outdated.

Posted by Andy H 2nd September, 2003

They do make stuff for the latest version of TGF...but the latest version is called MMF1.5. There's a sale on, nows the best time to get MMF, if not have fun in TGF - it's still a cool program, just old.

Posted by Assault Andy 3rd September, 2003

Circy - Yes you can, check the spring and the water in my example. -Andy

One word: SWEET!, man this is definetly some of the best extesnions made!, im trying to figure out the E-Mail object, it will be so good if i ever get it working!

Posted by LittleGuy (Ecstasy Studios) 3rd September, 2003

I installed it for Pro, and I havn't got everything, I'm missing Email, that text thing and a few others, I'll re-install.

Posted by LittleGuy (Ecstasy Studios) 3rd September, 2003

No. didn't help. I still need: ISO Grid 2, Platform Movement, Save Game,Text Blitter 1.5, Email

Posted by LittleGuy (Ecstasy Studios) 3rd September, 2003

I found out I have all the files, but they just dont all show up in the big list of objects

Posted by LittleGuy (Ecstasy Studios) 3rd September, 2003

How can I fix this?

Posted by ChrisB 3rd September, 2003

Upgrade to MMF Build 113.

Posted by Jeff - Clickteam 3rd September, 2003

If you do not have build 113 some of the extensions won't work. So you need to install build 113 to use those extensions. Build 113 adds some features and bug fixes so you should have it anyway. I can't see any reason to stay with an old build..... Pro: http://www.clickteam.com/webftp/files/8/3/MMFProSP7.exe Standard: http://www.clickteam.com/webftp/files/8/3/MMFStdSP7.exe

Posted by LittleGuy (Ecstasy Studios) 3rd September, 2003

ah, I had Built 107, i'll upgrade now.

Posted by RapidFlash 3rd September, 2003

I'm so pissed, I can't find my MMF 1.5 CD so I don't have the serial number to install the extensions.

Posted by danjo 4th September, 2003

email jeff with your details and he'll retrieve your serial n#, im sick of hearing moaning about that! if you havent got a warez version, then whats the problem???

Posted by RapidFlash 5th September, 2003

Hey, thanks Danjo!

Posted by Wormware 7th September, 2003

Thanks for all the information, I'll Download build 133 right now! BTW is it as great as everybody thought? Well Thanks and bye ;)
