We've had a couple of people complain that the admins are putting full-sized images on the front page, increasing loading time. Because I'm not allowed to give out the FTP information to the new admins, I've created an upload script for them to use.

This means: no more waiting for the main page to load, and no more posts with little red X's instead of screenshots *looks at the post below*

In other news, DALnet has been working perfectly the last week or so.

DALnet's far better, IMHO. Blitzed is like a secluded tropical paradise. What fun is a paradise when it's secluded? DALnet rawkz! :P Unrelated to that: Circy, fix the pic for the news post below this one :P

efnet is way better, it actually has cool channels like #allegro and #flash

But efnet has no services, which sucks.

DALnet has cool channels with cool people. And it's been reliable ever since you guys moved out. If it were not for that, I would've moved to Blitzed or Webnet years ago. The ONLY good chans I've seen on blitzed so far are #tgf and #k&p. Prove me wrong. :P Even then, the #k&p on blitzed is hardly any different from #tgf on both servers. Same rules, same feel, same people. That's what happens when two chans are owned by the same people. There's strict & nice #k&p competing with the casual & lame #tgf. Oh, and don't tell Muz not to be lame. That's like saying "Don't be yourself". :P
