Hi

Im having a few issues with sound and not sure how to fix it. Basically im running Direct show object to control the music (MP3) and then sound effects are little samples played through normal MMF2 play sample (samples are wave files)

Problem is in the game im making, the screen gets covered in collectables, bullets being fired and explosions. It all works fine however when loads of samples are playing at once the volume of the direct show object drops and the samples play through without change.

Its not the end of the world really and no one but me would know its not supposed to be doing that however if anyone knows if there is a fix it so the direct show takes priority then i will be very grateful.

Thanks

Instead of using MP3s, use OGG files. MMF can play them without using any extensions. Audacity can convert them for ya.
