Who whould u guys consider as a klik legend? Here are mine:

(well really, the only people that gain my respect)

1>Tigerworks, he just rocks!
2>ShadowCaster, a typical NSW knowledgable guy
3>Circy, i've never really talked to him, but i've heard plenty.

And there are others, but i cant think of em.

Don't forget to put reasons!

Charles Tumino. Destruction Carnival is what got me interested in Kliking and I would argue that it is still the greatest Klik game ever produced.

I'd say Zio(Kristofor Durrschmidt) is considered a Klik legend, even if he only emerges once in a while, he has create many of the best Click games ever made.

Hooray for typical NSW knowledgable guys! Although typcially we're quite the opposite!

I'd say Heiki Thies (is that how you spell is name) leader of Click Corps, his games are amazing, Deadly Tournament, Days of Vietnam, Syndicate. They are great, also I think Tigerworks and Duncan Fenn, creator of Gravitorb 1 + 2.

In Cleveland I made a list of klik "legends" and klik classics. I can't find that list, but they include: KNPMaster, Craig Jardine, Charles Tumino, Blackeye, Andy Hull, Owen Lindsey, and several others.

Awww Muggus. You give me warm fuzzies! I swear I didnt pay him to say that.

Anyhow, Sorry I havent been around much. Working in the major leagues making GBA titles is a ridiculous consumption of time. I very much enjoy making click stuff and have every intention to continue, but things may move tons slower now

If you guys have some time or if you didnt get a chance to go to E3 and see my new game Im working on go to www.IGN.com and check out Digimon Racing. I'm doing all the Character art/animations and lots of other stuff for that game.

See you guys soon.

Forgot to mention...I really like Anthony Lopez stuff. Never did like AOMB series, but I nearly die with laughter playing Damage House and/or Triumph. Fun stuff. I also like tons of other folks work too;

Natomic, Fallen Angel, O3, Blackeye, Danjo and Pulscodes stuff, circy,...blah blah...I could go on and on there are tons of great clickers. Even the ones considered "noobs" or whatever you guys call them now constantly suprise me. Its just nice to me to see that this many people enjoy making games and that I'm not the only one this crazy

Damn, nobody chose me as a legend. I'm not sure if the "Oh yeah and muz" right after the "Don't forget to put reasons" counts. Damn you all . But I don't even consider myself as a klik legend, at least not seriously. I just do so to piss people off . I've done less than most would believe, but much more than my critics claim. In other words, I may have appeared to be around for a while to some noobs, but I have actually done some stuff unlike what some people have said. I'm not gonna mention my past and all that just to keep the mysterious atmosphere around me or whatever that glowing thing in my avatar means. Go figure.

Anyways, here's my chosen list of legends:
1. Derek Yu and Jon Perry: Best duo in the community and creators of the some of the most difficult yet addictive games ever made. IMHO, they're way over-rated. There are people as good or even better than them, but few dare say so. But those two are among the first and I admire them for actually being one of the klik community's most solid teams.
2. Circy: True master. He can make a superb game with only crappy work. He's can act like a total idiot, yet be respected by many. He can get maimed, yet survive to join a convention of geeks. He is indeed one to be respected.
3. ShadowCaster: He is one who helps others even after Rikus has quit. He's got the most posts on the DC forums. He's like... master of klik programming.
4. Rikus: He's been around a lot .
5. Clubsoft: He's not so popular, but his hax0r skills are to be recognized. He's also the master of the new DC, even if he's much more humble about it than SOME people.
6. Hamish: He can fit in with any group, yet he's highly skilled at kliking. Some judge him as evil & anti-noob, but who isn't deep down inside?
7. Craig Jardine: Feared by many and hated by even more, his mercilessness is unparrellelled. That is, for those of you who have been around during the old #k&p days. Now that he's gone, some of us still speak of him...

I dunno. I don't really count Tigerworks as one. He's rather... over-rated. He's good, but there's others as good as him. His dedication to helping others should be noted, though.

There may be a few others I forgot. If so, sorry.

Yeah, I guess if Circy's in the list, Shen should be too. He helps more people and has more posts on the DC than even me. His humility should be legendary. And there are others with far more questionable sanity.

Yves should be in as well. I wouldn't exactly say he created Click, but he should be noted. SKN3 should also be in... he's been around, helping people, starting sites, making stuff... yet few really know him. I owe him for giving inspiration to my early sites and helping me out with the goddamn arrays I rely so heavily on today.

And also a few others from the good old Freakware and Klik Resource days. There were many, but I fear I won't be able to spell their names properly. The guy who created that uh, deathmatch game with the furry guys. He inspired most of modern platform engine techniques. Chris Drobish, first translator of the DirectPlay object. The guy who made the DirectPlay object. All helpful people, yet unrecognized. There's tons others who I'll remember in due time.

I miss the old days. These new, modern demanding, "ur a n00b, i h8 u" punks are just so... annoying. Same goes for those hypocrites who write 'dont diss n00bs' articles yet believe they're superior. I miss the days when people used to ignore the lameness of others instead of acting lame just to make fun of em.

OK, so, there's a hidden message in that paragraph up there that some of you may notice. I may not have time to reply in the next few months so I'll end with this message:
"Stop whining and have fun. Kliking has turned from a hobby into an obsession. And for those of you who *STILL* haven't gotten it all these years, I hate myself more than any of you could possibly hate me and any praise towards myself is purely sarcasm. Any fame (good or bad) I got via false advertisements and rumors are usually undeserved. I admit it. In other words, those of you who know what I meant in the bulk of my post, please shut up and be happy. "

Nah dudes, CraigJ wasn't a legend, but his team was. As for Circy being a legend...Well...It makes me giggle to think of that. Then it makes me chuckle. Then it just makes me seriously lol. No offence mang, but Circy isn't a legend. His games are good, but not legendary.

The best legends were: Adventures of the Retarded Goat, those Walkerton games, Killing Fields from Zenith, Rat2, any game from Rikus, etc. Think oldschool people.

It's my humble opinion that Circy should never have been made Admin. (I don't remember why now.)

People could argue that Craig Jardine was/wasn't a legend (he did make In the Pit and Attrax and started Virtually Real), but I agree with you, the team is legendary (along with FAInd and a few others).
As for Circy being a legend... it's hard to say. If you said that a year ago almost everyone would be like "ha ha ha, you're so stupid" or "you're an idiot!" or something like that. The Zone Runner series made him agruable, but I'll wait for Mr. Stump's Dentures (the full game) to decide. That just reminds me, I believe Circy is probably one of the most powerful klikkers (his an admin at TDC, PK and I believe TK as well).

Well, people still speak of CraigJ even after he's gone. I guess that makes him legendary. He was a lot more famous back in the old #k&p DALnet days than in the actual game-making community.

Oh, and I'm not sure if someone mentioned this but...
Mark Pay:
He made the legendary Tremor series, even if the old Tremor was a bit sloppily coded and sloppily drawn. He inspired some of the early top-view klik graphics. I guess he deserves some recognition for that.

Lets face it people, you wouldn't be adding me to the list of "klik legends" if I wasn't an Admin...which got me very well known. Anyway, my chosen legends are, in no particular order.

Eve of Being The Game
How many of you can honestly say you'd heard of this guy before he released Red Feud? Probably nobody. He's jumped so high up the klikking ladder in such a short space of time.

Mark Pay
I can't believe I haven't seen his name mentioned in this topic. He has major graphical talent, and most of the games he releases are good, solid fun.

Bernie
He's in Fallen Angel, and probably the only member in it who I'd really class as a legend. I've never seen him release a game before, but his coding and spriting are nothing short of exceptional brilliance. Quite possibly the most talented member of the community I've ever known, hence he should be considered as a legend.

The Blackeye Boys
Without them, we wouldn't have one of the greatest games ever concieved. Ever. With Dereks pixel skills and Jon's coding, this team is unbeatable.

Ben Berntson
The creator of the un-released Chaos Gate (I have an old beta, nur nur!), but it plays like a dream, and is probably more accessible than ED. Saying that, I haven't seen the new, darker version yet.

PEOPLE WHO DIDNT QUITE MAKE IT

Duncan Fenn - Gravitorb 2 really made its impact in the community, but all his previous games were a little iffy in some respect, whether it be lack of graphical talent or a buggy engine. Talented, but a one hit wonder. Probably.

Craig Sardine - He's done a lot for this community, but in actuality, none of his games are any good. Except the upcoming ITP3.

Ashman - A very talented klikker with a unique graphical style, however...theres just something about his games...not sure what, which lack that "classic" standard.

Hamish - From what I know, the dudes only finished one game, that being Furry, and however good it is, you can't make a judgement on him being a legend when hes only finished one game. When Commando's finished however, that might change.

Not for consideration
Rikus, Zellix, the Acoders crew (sorry guys!)...I never found any of these guys games fun to play. At all. Deli Dash is pretty good, but it gets very repetitive

ITP3 isn't being finished, and CraigJ did start VReal.
You have to include Rikus. He not only started APZone and The Daily Click but Eggit is considered a classic by many. Duncan Fenn should be very close (if not one), Death City was a very good game.

Rikus and Craig didn't make the best games around, but they were legendary... political figures. Gotta give em credit for that.

Circy don't make the best either, but yeah, he's damn powerful, possibly the next 'Rikus Kras' in the making. I've got other thoughts against him, but I'd rather not mention em while he's watching .

As for Mark Pay... well, his old games back in his prime weren't that good (cept maybe the first Aliens Infestation), but he's much better than he used to be.

So, I say, the only truly deserving legends are ShadowCaster and the Blackeye Software boys.

All of the original #k&p ops except for me. Meaning Havoc (Alex Forgothislastname), David Willis, Rikus Kras, Philip Kelley (Iodine), Martin Braid, and Greg Craft (Piccolo). Not like Martin or Greg ever released anything, but they were an integral part of the community.

Also that Kevin guy that did Future Fantasy, Cragmyre, Zack Fowler (the REAL creator of Eggit), and Samkim/MusicSK.

And christ, PAT JENNINGS? Silky? Anybody agree, please?

Sigh. 1996 sure was a long time ago.

Yeah, you can't forget Pat Jennings. And I believe Kevin Smets was his name (and he left the community).
