I know this is probably a stupid question, but here it goes anyway... The level size in my game is 10,000 x 10,200. When I edit the game, everything works perfectly, but when I run the game, all I get is a grey screen.

Is this because I exceeded the size limit?

Wow, that's huge!

If you're using giant active objects to go with that frame it could mess things up. I once had a big-framed project that used a big active as the room / wall borders and it sucked until I replaced it with an obstacled backdrop.

To edit my frame in MSpaint it also took forever and a day to open, and it was nowhere near the size of your game's frame. How are you setting things up? One huge picture / background or a lot of little rooms / areas all inside its borders?

It's a free-roaming exploration game. There are rooms, obsticles and baddies placed through-out.

I don't think there is a limit, or at least not that low. I've had frames that size before, without any problems. You're sure it's not the scrolling that's messed up? It might not find the player object, if you've got "inactive if too far from window" enabled.

What happens if you resize it down to, say 5000x5000?

It's not, that's for sure. If 3D games can load in 10 seconds, a game like this can load in 2.

10,000 shouldn't have caused any issues. Looking back at an old project of mine, I managed to pull it off without any problems.
