When I scroll my playfield around, all the backdrop I have pasted from active objects dissappear. Is there any way to get around this? This annoying little bug makes my whole game idea totally impossible to do..

I use MMF 1.5

Change all your "paste into background" events to "Add to Backdrop".

Oh thanks! That actually work. Is there any difference in performance or something in those two? Is the only difference that the backdrop wipes and the background stay put?

Is that "Add to Backdrop" event possible with TGF?

I'm not really sure if there is a performance differance, I'm not even sure why clickteam put in paste into background, it seems rather silly. Just always use add to backdrop for scrolling games. I'm not sure if that option is availabe for TGF, I don't have TGF.

TGF had "Paste image into Background" which disappeared when it scrolls out of the screen. It was too limited to keep the changes made.
MMF has "Add Backdrop", which doesn't disappear. MMF also had the original "Paste image into Background" for compatibility.
