Picross Mania (full version as freeware)

Picross Mania was originally a shareware game which I made in 2007, but now decided to re-release the full unlocked version as freeware.

It's a nonogram / picross / griddler / hanjie game; a picture logic puzzle, partly similar to sudoku - but much more fun actually.

If you're unfamiliar with nonograms, check out the Wikipedia page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonogram

Picross Mania features:
- 160 picross puzzles
- 4 game modes; Challenge, Time Attack, Marathon and Single Puzzle
- Unlimited amount of randomly generated puzzles
- Online and local high scores
- Ability to download more levels

Level editor is still disabled in this version, I will be adding that later on. If you're interested in making some levels to the game, let me know.

This game is really fun! Another great game by MJK games, of course! Some of the later levels were too hard for me though, but that's a good thing.

Yeah - great game, I love Picross

The controls are nicely done, although it would have been great if the numbers on the right crossed off as you made progress.

That's a good point. There's no automatic feature to cross off the number clues, but you can dehighlight them manually by clicking. Isn't quite as convenient, but can be helpful.

Very nice coffee-break game, with a really professional feel

I'd never heard of nonograms before, but the difficulty curve is just about right, and the instructions clear, so I had no problems picking it up (okay, so I admit I found level 12 tough).
The only real criticism I have is that the music, while nice, does get very repetitive.

Thank you gents.

As for the music, it does get a bit repetitive. In longer game sessions, it will occasionally fade to another track, but I see your point. In Time Attack mode there is a third track, and Marathon should actually feature a fourth, but just tested it and it didn't play any music at all, so need to add it.
