This is just a little mish mash engine i threw together to prototype a project im working on.

i took an old engine of mine, the one i used for kugel kopf massaker, lightly modified it, and added all new graphics physics, effects.

in this engine you can pick up any of the weapons on the floor using the right mouse click. left mouse click uses guns and chainsaw. the sword and bat can only be swung around with the mouse, they inflict damage upon impact.

theres nothing to do but kill endless randomly spawning zombies.

I would remove this download really. You really should put the link to this engine on a project page to get some better feed back, i was kinda counting on more to do.

Great stuff. Consider making 360 degree shooting if possible.

most definitely. old engine, old shooting.

the first 2 hours were boring, but after that, I realized you could actually use the weapons , then, the following 3 days of non-stop playing were cool. But then I fell asleep

In addition to needing a 360 shooting engine, I also noticed the player can't jump unless they're moving left or right: the player cannot jump while standing still. Is this by design?

no its not by design. when i created KKM (in my old games pack download) i used the default platform movement, and used up + left/right for the jump. its a casualty of being a noob when i first made the engine and of using the old engine for this prototype. but again its just a prototype.

i will be recoding the entire engine from scratch while maintaining what is good about this engine. custom platform movement, 360 degree shooting, custom enemy platform movement and instancing will all be added.
