This is a major update to my Perspective object.

It can distort the background *much* faster than Lens object for MMF but is limited to the following effects:

Perspective
Panorama
Sine Wave
Custom

Tweak each effect's settings through the setup dialog.

sounds pretty nifty. Can it make a wavy background effect for like a desert level or something?

can you make an example file using the object?

There is an examplefile showing how to use it here: http://andos.stiaxies.net/examplefiles.php It's extremely easy to use, I don't think it needs any documentation really. Yes you can make a wavy desert background effect with this object. Follow the discussion about the object over at CT as well: http://www.clickteam.com/CTforum/showflat.php3?Cat=&Board=study&Number=278087&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&part=

Strange, it doesn't seem to work properly for me if I change the resolution.

This is superb, most graphically intense extensions (i.e Overlay object/Mode 7) are SLOW, sometimes even by themselves you can see the frame-rate drop, so this is much more practical to use as a part of a game. Excellent work man :D.

yea. I also get some bugs when I resize the height.

You have to keep this in mind: The object should never go outside the playarea (not even one pixel) so you have to reallly precise when positioning the object and resizing it. If you are sure it's a bug, then email me an example. My email is in the setup box when you click 'About'

Thanks again for jumping on my small request for an extention that can fold panoramic scenes around the screen to avoid distortion.:-)

I can add that for the next release :) I'm also allowing you to change the offset value for some of the other effects that doesn't do anything when setting the offset at the moment.
