This is an upgrade to the original game. Play as Sanchez on his mission to rescue his girlfriend Sarah. Collect coins to open up new levels, gather power ups to get new coins and venture over Isle Pokuh to find Sarah and defeat the evil Skeleton Sergei.

The much hated jump engine of the original has been fixed (no more half hexagular jumping). No longer do you have to limit yourself to a single savefile. No more guessing where that darn last coin is, the map screen tells you how many coins you have in each level, and how many that is needed to open up the next. Six levels, four power ups and three difficulty levels. Also a whole new intro, several graphics upgrades and two mini games.

NOTE: You do not need the original to play this.

Dude, the first Scurvy Sanchez was released 9 months ago. Nobody would click on the link in the 'Other Creations' bar or search for it using the Search DC option, because it's 9 months old. That's pretty old, and you can't tell me it's not. Be logical. Accept this.

This guy has only just released Scurvy Sanchez 3. There are far too many of them coming out and its starting to get annoying. October 2004 really isn't that long ago. I could tweak all my games ranging back from 2001 and re-release them, and I know I'd get flamed for it. Still, I can see people complaining, so for the sake of peace I will accept this. But the Scurvy Sanchez games are being released far too quickly in my opinion, and every time one is released, Phredreeke goes on a massive hyping spree, posting on all the major websites about it, in the forums, even in his signature.

He's an enthusiast! XD

I agree that Scurvy Sanchez 3 was overhyped. The original Scurvy Sanchez (the one this is based on), went pretty quietly except for a certain member acting out about it and TDC in general. TOIM was hyped on a moderate level. Part of it is due to the advice of one of my beta testers. FYI, the previous SS games had been released 4 months apart. I was considering holding onto this until the anniversery of the first release, but I decided to let it go early. Will you get a new SS game in October? Not from me...

About the game, it was good, but not as entertaining as SS3.

Ok. apparantly the save feature has problems on some systems. if you can't load your game, then start a new game in the next slot. it should work again.

Woo. This's GREAT!!!!!! :) Download it, everyone! :D Yeah ok, Phredreeke asked me to hype this. :P Don't falme the guy, his games are ok. And the hyping... Well, we're used to it. :)

Phred did a great job on the Special Edition! Me like.

Love the cindi lauper goonies theme music damn it. Whats with the loading levels? are they real or just crappy things put in to make it look professional?

Posted by Retired Kliker Lazarus 20th July, 2005

I suggested that he hyped it like this. The originial Scurvy Sanchez wasn't getting that many downloads, so I told him he should hype it up a bit. Anyway, downloading...

Everyone seem to think I put in a fake loader, it's not fake. It loads data on which coins you've collected, although I did put in some code to slow it down, because at first it would only read the first few entries then directly jump into the level. Do you people think I did a good job with the new intro? Sarah doesn't look out of place anymore as she did in the first release.

Fine for me! Can you also update it by replecing Sunchez's animations to these on your last Scurvy Sunchez 3? /\_/\' On the 3'rd game Noodle did a great job with the tunes! More over, He did a fabuleous job on the 10 seconds tune in the intro! Be sure, When people has less pressure in life, their artwork and skills improve... Free your mind to see results comming! All of you!

Would anyone care if I released a patch to fix the load bug? (as well as two minor bugs)
