x2y is an image converter. (it converts an image from format x to an image in format y. Yes, I know it's lame.) Anyway, I just released the alpha version. It's pretty buggy and is missing some features, but its still pretty cool. You can convert multiple images at a time to a new format, and even convert all the images in an entire directory to a new format! Plus it supports more formats than you'll ever need (you can load .bmp, .cut, .dds, .gif, .ico, .jpg, .lbm, .mdl, .mng, .pcd, .pcx, .pgm, .pic, .png, .ppm, .psd, .psp, .raw, .sgi, and .tga files, and you can save as .bmp, .dds, .jpg, .pcx, .pgm,.png, .ppm, .raw, .sgi, and .tga. ) Seriously, I don't even know what half those formats are.

So convert your website's crappy gifs to a superior format (*cough* png *cough*) today!
